my rat is still ill and i still cant get the money 2 find out...shes losing her hair and is very skinny and still weeing blood, i haven't been back to the vets yet as all they say is she needs an xray and that will cost near 200 or more... iv tried 2 contact the rspca but all i do is get put on hold....i don't know whats rong with her she seems fine in herself but i know she isn't and im scared because how ill she is dawning on my and i cant jus sit back.

im not sure what any one can do on here im just lost because i love her so much yet i cant do anything and though i love her i dont even kno if its to late 2 get her an ray now and £200 is so much....i hope that deosnt sound awful...she has more symptoms now, maybe i shud take her back to the vet as soon as i can, sorry its an essay but if any 1 has any suggestions or can help please feel free to answer

When you took her in, you were taking in potential vet bills as well. What are you doing to save the money to get her what she needs? Has she been put on any antibiotics? Is she eating and drinking well? Does she seem to be in pain? People on this forum might be able to help:

Weeing blood could mean a urine infection or pyometra, which requires a spay.

She really does need to see a vet ASAP.

And, I agree with meep. Rats aren't cheap pets, if you can't afford vets bills, you shouldn't keep them. Maybe you should consider rehoming her so someone can get her the vet treatment she desperately needs.
