Hi,

I am currently looking for a pair/trio of pet rats. I would like to find Himalayan, Blues, Blue Point Siamese, or other “unusual” colorations. I live in Raleigh, NC, which is making my search next to impossible!!! I am willing to travel a bit (VA or SC) to find my new furry friends. It’s been 15 yrs since my last pet rat & I’ve done a lot of research trying to locate ratteries & learn as much as possible about pet rats. I’ve even built a 4’ x 3’ “mansion” with multiple levels & “rooms” for the ratties to live in. So all I’m missing now are the fuzzy little souls. Any help or rattery recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried petfinder? I live in southern Virginia and there are always a TON of rats in Raleigh and other parts of NC. I know there is 3R rescue in Raleigh and another rodent rescue in Greensboro. I would suggest trying there if you don't find any nearby breeders.
